[Heathkit] HEATH_AUTO_TUNERS&BAMA

I am looking to buy a used, of course, a SA-2500. 
I note that BAMA has a Heath SA-2600A on it's menu. Does anyone know the difference?
Also, has anyone been successful in obtain manuals or schematics from BAMA? I've just about given up on them trying to jump through hoops and using programs I am not familiar with.
Does anyone have another location that sports manuals for downloading that doesn't tax my brain?
