[Heathkit] Maurader Transmitter

Dave:
Your complaint is pretty general, can you be more specific?
Before you go looking for output, I suggest you verify that all supplies
are working. That's a lot of stuff to check due to 3 regulator tubes and two
rectifiers. In CW the vox should work and you can tweak it from the front
panel. In AM and SSB the PTT or VOX should work.
The spot postition should put out a healthy local signal. Be sure the
xtal/vfo switch on the front panel is in vfo mode.
Do you have a manual? Probably best to do the checkout and power up checks
by the book. BAMA has it if you don't.
I have a Marauder here and have enjoyed it for years. My favorite boatanchor
transmitter. There are no modifications published for the HX-10, that's how
good the Heathkit design was.
When you get it going you will enjoy it.
