If you can't find the originals, you should be able to substitute another
temp sensor, if you know the approximate resistance range. Check Mouser,
Jameco, Surplus Sales of Nebraska, etc. There are hundreds of sources 
online.
Failing that, you might try a sensor from any car that has a digital temp
display. They're usually mounted in the grille area with a 2-wire connector.
My Jeep Cherokee (Chrysler) uses one that costs about 15 bucks I think.

Found an old Heathkit Indoor & Outdoor
Temperature Unit which i built in the 1970-1980.
Missing the Temp Sensors & looking if anyone
