[Heathkit] Requncy shift

Hello:

          l have the Heathkit SB-301 receiver, and the SB- 401 transmitter,
my question is, when l'm in the separate mode (unlocked), and l turn the
switch to (locked) to go into the transceiver mode, my transmit and receive
frequency change 500 hz !

         l've followed the manuals for both the receiver and the
transmitter, in setting the LMO shifers, thinking that may be the reason,
but the freqeuncy still changes about 500hz, when l move the switch from
unlocked to locked.

         ls there something that l shoud line up that l've missed ? other
than that, the both units are working well.
