Those high-voltage caps...they were rare for a while, but then they made 
a comeback.  I think this is the one, isn't it?: Cornell-Dublier 
Hi-Voltage Metalized Polypropylene Film Capacitors 1600V 15uF.  Mouser

I've got a HO-13 that someone before me put a run of the mill 
transformer in and wired it up with a simple voltage doubler.  Or maybe 
quadrupler?  It's worked great for years and years.  I made a schematic 
of it at some point, I think.
