Dan (and All)

Isn't it wonderful to have a seemingly bottomless resource of information
like this list to call upon? The tremendous collection of knowledge,
experience, resources and technical material is both unequaled and
priceless! Caring thoughtful Hams and radio hobbyists who are glad to help
those with a simple issue or those with a highly complex problem that causes
Engineers to develop a craving for the wood used to make the thousands of
graphite pencils they have gnawed into toothpicks for Ants! What is really
incredible, is the nearly infinite depth and scope of this neuron based
mobile library. If the answer to your question can not be found here guys,
it is not likely that you will ever find it!

I would like to express my personal thanks to "each" one of you for being a
subscriber and contributing financially to owner Alan Waller, K3TKJ to keep
the hard drives "always" spinning. The mandatory climate controlled
environment for the 29 servers operating - the electrical bill that
sometimes causes Al's lovely wife's eyes to flash a numerically stunned
"TILT" - Al's tireless effort to keep viruses and spam off the
QTH.NET/QSL.Net systems - his super human efforts to keep these lists user
funded and 'not' use commercial sponsors etc.

All of Al's help is done by volunteers who devote many hours each week to
helping the pipeline of answers to keep moving day or night, sunshine or
shadow, famine or flood or whatever. Without the many volunteers who help
manage the lists, work on resolving subscriber mail failure concerns,
helping to wage war on those foreign entities who clog our spam sewers with
material not suitable for recycling and so forth, QTH.NET/QSL.NET could not
exist! It is a team effort and each of you are part of this team!

Al created these lists to help others in Ham radio, Short-Wave listening or
any of the many forms that our beloved radio hobby takes. You can help by
sending QTH.NET twenty dollars per year. If all you can afford is a dollar,
it is still welcome! Every cent contributed will help to keep the lights lit
and the answers to your questions being delivered to your ISP while you
sleep. Sadly less than 1% of all subscribers contribute.

Please send whatever you can and help to keep these lists alive for many
years to come.

You are a wonderful and fun group. Keep on rescuing the relics and restoring
the past so the future can hear 'real' radio!

Duane Fischer, W8DBF
