What 400 mfd @ 450 volt capacitors are you talking
about?

The "large" 450 volt capacitors that are used in the
filtering of the high voltage are 125 mfd @ 450 volt.

You can get 120 mfd (which is the "modern" equivalent
of the old 125 mfd capacitors) from all sorts of
sources including Mouser at http://www.mouser.com .

The new capacitors are about 1/5th the size of the
original capacitors, are much closer in tolerance, and
work quite well.

If someone has replaced the original capacitors with
400 mfd versions I wonder where they got the room!
