Hi,

I am new to the list and hope to get some much needed information.  I 
want to add PTT to a DX-40 and wondered if someone has a good method of 
doing so.  Studying the schematic, I can see a couple of ways to 
accomplish it, but wondered if I could get ideas from those who have 
made the modification.

I also noticed there are two different schematics for the DX-40.  The 
one in my manual and the one in a buddy's manual are quite different.  
Did Heath change horses in the middle of the stream?  If so, which is 
the better design in your opinion?
