[Heathkit] Problem SB-220 (1/2 high voltage)

Check the HV with a good meter such as a Simpson or Triplett.
Usual problem is the 4.7 meg meter multiplier resistors have gone up in
value. Since you measure 300V across each cap that alone equals 2400V.

Subject: [Heathkit] Problem SB-220 (1/2 high voltage)

I have a SB-220 that I only show 1/2 the high voltage 1200v in tune and
1500v in SSB. I have changed all the diodes on the board and also the
Zener. The resistors on the board all check correctly. This is being run
off 120v. I show between 297vdc and 307vdc on the caps. I have run out of
ideas. Any help would be a blessing.

Thanks
