[Heathkit] HW-101 Tube help / suggestions please

I am "out of the loop" so to speak and would appreciate input regarding replacing my HW-101 finals from real users.
I talked to a distributor regarding there 6146's..specifically the SYLVANIA/ECG-PHILIPS 6146W tubes &
GE 6146W tubes. they where out of stock of there GE 6146A's.
I used to be able to find GE 6146A's ...kinda hard these days I guess, and of course the distributor wanted to sell the ECG's.
My 101 uses A's..I have heard that the ECG brand have issues neutralizing / keeping there neutralization.
so,out of the two sets mentioned, used in an HW-101, what would be recommended by most users?
