[Heathkit] Scam alert - beware of DAN COTSIRILOS K9DTC

I was not going to post anything regarding MY transaction with Dan
Cotsirilos, however, after reading this post, I feel that I should.

I agreed to purchase the SW-717 that he had on his list for $25.00 (again
described as "Clean").  I even prepaid the shipping to make it easier for
him.

When the unit was received, The front panel was broken in two, the knobs
were not original, the speaker was loose and bounced around inside the unit
destroying everything in its path.  The rod antenna was missing and the
unit had no screws holding it together which contributed to the speaker
problem.  It was packed in a very flimsy box with just some shredded paper
as packing.

Since I was only out the $25.00, I just decided to add Mr. Dan to my list
of people to avoid in the future.  

Of course my email to him went unanswered as well.

The Heathkit community is a rather small one, and guys like this don't get
away with duping people for long.  I only have a few on my list, and Dan is
certainly at the top.
