[Heathkit] SB-200 Problem

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Richard Measures mods. It's pretty
well an absolute must to incorporate those mods in most of the amplifiers
although there are a few of them that do not require them (Richard will tell
you which ones). Also incorporating "soft start" circuits in those old
fragile hf amps is an excellent idea for all of the minimal costs involved.
The more modern up to date amps such as the alpha's use hypersil core
transformers and have the necessary protection circuitry built-in.
