[Heathkit] HW-2

Does anyone have any info, schematics, etc.
on the Heathkit HW-2 2 meter HT?

Mine seems to work fine, both transmit and receive,
but I cannot seem to un-squelch the radio with the
squelch control.  When the radio is first turned on,
there is a tiny burst of white noise, but that is all.
Transmitted signal and audio are fine, and it likewise
receives quite nicely, but no ability to un-squelch and
get white noise.

Anybody out there have a clue???
