[Heathkit] Help With Bad Mike

Hi All, 	

	It appears I am going to need to replace either the contents of the handmike
that came with the HW-202 or use a different handmike. Can somebody please tell
me what it used in the original handmike? A crystal?	
	
Any suggestions for a suitable replacement?

Oh yes, for what it is worth, there are two AAA batteries soldered into this
handmike. This handmike sure appears original, including markings on the case,
did it have batteries?
