[Heathkit] Plating on SB & HW Chassis

Group,
I'm restoring some equipment with fairly substantial
rust spots on the chassis.  I have plating equipment
(from Caswell Plating), but I need to know what the SB
and HW series rigs steel chassis were plated with so I
can duplicate the look and not get into bimetallic
corrosion problems.

Can anyone help?
