[Heathkit] HR-1680/HX-1681 Problems

I have managed to bring a HX-1681 transmitter back to life, but I am having
problems when using it with the HR-1680 receiver. I can hear the VFO signal
from the TX on the RX when spotted on the same frequency. I am anxious to
get this set-up operating full break-in CW, so I would appreciate any input
from the list.

By the way, the set-up works well otherwise, but obviously the TX VFO signal
poses a real problem.
