First, please include a 'subject' in the future. Otherwise your post may not be
read by many subscribers, the spam and various filters eliminate much of this
nowadays.	
	
I have an operational HW-202. There is no PL tone. It was intended to operate
without a PL tone, but there is a way in which one can be added. However, you
only have six frequencies, twelve crystals, and with the low RF output of about
five watts, it really is not worth the work.	
	
You will need to purchase the TX and RX crystals cut for the frequency and
offset you want for the repeater and then go to the expense of either doing it
yourself, or paying someone to do it for you, of adding the PL tone
modification.	
	
It is a fun rig!

Just picked up an old 2 meter HW-202 Transceiver. with manual. Does anyone have
any info on the tone encoder? Will it generate PL tones or is it an old fashoned
tone burst generator? Thanx and 73 Dave N9XU
