Hi All
I'd like to hear some comment on this subject too. I've been doing an extensive Internet search for wrinkle paint and have difficulty in believing that some paint manufacturer doesn't still sell it in bulk. The only wrinkle paint I've found to be readily available is in spray cans at auto stores. I did find one website that mentioned spraying the object to be painted with a coat of lacquer type paint and then within 5-10 minutes over spraying the wet lacquer with an enamel coat. Seems rather "iffy" and like a real pain in the nether regions.

I picked up a Heathkit speaker SB-600 to match my SB-303 SB-401 station.
The cabinet was ruff and I am now ready to repaint after prep.
I will be going to Sherwin Williams in the AM to pick up some paint.
After they do a computer match of the original paint I will be spraying the
reconditioned cabinet.
What I need to know is of any trick you all may use to duplicate the crinkle
on the cabinet.
On about 3 areas I had to go to the metal and those areas are now smooth.
I was thinking of using a foam brush when I spray some primer on those areas
to try and duplicate the crinkle.
But, I thought I would ask the guys here first.
Could be you all have a better way.
Most of the cabinet still has the original finish so I only need to recrinkle
those 3 small areas.
Thanks in advance,
Dan/N4VET
