[Heathkit] HW-101 Question

I had this problem with an HW-100 once. I had the Mic./CW Level Control
turned up too far to the right.This was on CW. Can't remember if it affected
either LSB or USB.I don't think it did, as to get sufficient output the
Level control was set about 9 ro 10 o'clock position.
