Michael Casper & I are personal friends & both involved in Meteorite Collecting.

Casper is not a Ham. The 3 possible hits on QRZ are not him.
He no longer owns any Collins. He may have a few "keyers" left but that collection is also gone.
He resides near Ithica, Ny on a 30 acre ranch/farm on a mountain top. I have seen his home & property.
He did not sell his Meteorite Business, as he simply sold the meteorites he had on hand.
I own some from his former Collection.
He is still active in Meteorites & Meteorite Research. He recently listed one on eBay.
He is involved in Rare Coins & recently sold a Morgan Collection for in excess of $1 million bucks.
Casper is a consultant to NASA, the Smithsonian, Hayden Plantarium,  and heavily associated with Cornell Univesrity
in their deep space & meteorite research programs.
He is the "leading expert" in meteorites worldwide, a photographic contributor to & referred to in numerous Space publications worldwide.
He recently testified as an expert witness in Federal Court in Tampa, Fla in the trial where various Moon Rocks had been stolen
from the Johnson Space Center several years ago which resulted in the conviction of the subjects.
