FW: [Heathkit] Help S meter circuirtry

Thanks to all for the replies. I checked the voltage on the side of the
meter the pot is tied to. It does change when the pot is turned. I swapped
v3 & v4. I noticed as the tubes were warming up I could move the S meter a
small amount even though it was below zero. A fellow ham has a lot of nos
tubes. Need to pay a visit with the rig.

I am working on restoring an HW-101. The s meter reads negative scale. The
meter zero has no affect. Could someone explain how the circuitry for the s
meter works so I can trouble shoot it. If I understand how the circuit works
then I think I can figure out the problem. Thank you in advance.
