Greetings All,
I have determined that the handmike I have is functioning. It does put out audio
when modulated.
It was tested independent of the HW-202.
My grandson and I searched for the location of the deviation control pot, R247,
but were not able to locate it.
The top of the unit is the RX and the TX is on the bottom.
If one of you who has a manual would find this pot and give me a detailed
description of how to locate it, I would be most appreciative.
My teenage grandson has left, so the old blind dude is going to attemp to clean
and adjust the deviation control on his own. That is, if I can find it!
The HW-202 was working when last used, about nine years ago. The builder became
a SK, his older brother got the rig, never used it and recently gave it to me.
He is not able to work on it, as his eyesight is failing at age ninety.
Thanks for helping me this little critter. Hopefully if he gets a nice bath, his
joints loosened up and contacts cleaned he will say a few words.
