Hi all,
I too am using mineral oil in my cantenna. After I moved back from Italy in
1987, I had to replace the can and used a lacquer can after cleaning it with
lacquer thinner and washing it. The mineral oil has withstood 1.7 kW for
2.5 mins. With no troubles....I was adjusting a homebrew amp into it at
hi-power after initial tuning at low power incase you're wondering why so
long.
That's my tell.
