[Heathkit] Dummy Juice

How much over the dry rating can the load resistors be pushed in oil?
If I use a hundred watts worth of resistors in parallel, what are they
capable of dissipating in an oil bath?

Anyone, any other thoughts on compressor oils?
I have one that needs oil and was thinking of transmission fluid.
I want something that's inexpensive (cheap) and found locally.
To buy a gallon of special oil with shipping it might end up cheaper to
find another load.
Thanks, George KB2Z
