You might also want to check out Peter W. Dahl's website www.pwdahl.com he built me two 2500 VCT plate transformers plus two swinging chokes and two smoothing chokes for the 813 base TX. I'm building out of the '55 handbook. He charged me half of what Hammond wanted for the same plate xfmrs, and Hammond didn't even list the chokes. Pete is a ham, and has a large list of transformers he can supply for a lot of ham gear.

Danny, Try Hammond Manufacturing's transformers (Google Hammond and
transformer should get you there). I have found they almost always have a suitable
replacement, both electrically and dimensionally. These are the transformers
Antique Electonic Supply handles, only at the Hammond site, you will see the
entire list. AES shows only a very small portion of what is available. (By
the way, you may find it is cheaper to just buy a parts radio!)

Have fun. My first radio and kit was my HR-10. I still have it, 43 years
now, and really enjoy turning it on now and then!
