Make sure you check all the resistors hanging off the focus and intensity
pots. My CRT's in my HO-10 and HO-13 are roughly 44 years old and still
provide a good trace. My SB-610 and 620 are 30+ years old and still
provide a good trace and intensity. However, most times when the trace
started to get dim, it had to do with the resistors mentioned above
changing value over time. Those CRT's pop up at flea markets frequently,
and probably Fair Radio still has some.
