[Heathkit] SB-200 Talk Back

Come on Peter, you know as well as I do that it is Gremlins lurking in there.
All because somebody ran a batch of ceramic capacitors on October 31st The
official Magician's holiday. (True. Check your calendar.) So instead of working
magically, they got jinxed.

I've got an Amanna refrigerator that people swear is talking. I must admit it
does make some strange sounds that do sound like ... Well, the service guy says
they all sound like this nowadays, less insulation for sound, but greater
efficiency. What I can't figure out is why he kept crossing himself? (chuckle)

You know you "get no respect" when even the ceramic capacitors talk back
to you.

As Mark indicated, it's probably the plate blocking cap. Changing it out
is probably the only solution.
