[Heathkit] Cantenna

I would like to jump in on this thread. I know there is still a lot of
concern over PCB oil. I believe most of it is unfounded unless your drinking
it on a daily basis. Being a electric lineman and working in the field for
31 years I have had many exposures to transformer oil. Some of it was
contaminated and some highly concentrated PCB oil. I still don't know of
anyone in the trade dying from contacting PCB oil. It has been illegal to
manufacture a PCB molecule since July 01, 1979. Any oil you get today will
have no-PCB's. So use transformer oil if you can, It dissipates the heat
better and you will have a higher rating.

I only know the answer to question 1. Mineral oil. I had a Cantenna
back in the 1970's that had the nasty PCB transformer oil in it.
Discarded that a long time ago by handing it over to the local DEP.
