[Heathkit] Old timey ham band allocations?

This is a bit off topic for this reflector, but since there's a lot of Ol'
Timers on this I thought I'd give it a try. I happened to stumble across my
very first log sheet recently
(http://www.netdave.com/wa0ttn/images/FirstLogSm.jpg) and see that I was
operating using the only two crystals I had: 7.169 and 7.185 Mc (it was
still Mc back then, and I still have the 7.169 in a box somewhere). I got
nostalgic and decided to tune over there and in checking the current band
allocation chart, I see that those frequencies are now allocated for voice,
and the Novice allocation goes from 7.100 to 7.150 Mhz. I was wondering if
anywone could tell me:

1. When did the bands get reallocated? I do remember it vaguely, but I don't
think I was active at the time.

2. Does anyone have an allocation chart or table from around the 1968 era?
I've got all my logs from back then and it would be neat to include the
original band allocations with them for historical purposes.

Thanks for any help, sorry for the off topic posting, and 73 to all.

p.s. I am qualified to post on this reflector :-) I have a healthy HW-101
with power supply, which I occasionally drag out to blow the cobwebs off.
And HM-15 SWR meter, SB-200 with Harbach mods, an SB-610 monitor scope, and
a genuine Cantenna that I use all the time. What great gear!
