[Heathkit] sb-221 meter

ok hams, here is one to think about. i have a sb-221. good condition. =
high voltage meter reading not working. it will read relative power and =
grid ma. i jumpered in a new in box meter with the same results, so the =
problem is not the meter. i have a new harbach meter diode board and new =
tippin face and lots of paint on the back so its possible that the =
mounted stuff is not making ground contact.. i cleaned the 3 position =
wafer switch . no luck. any thoughts? tnx in advance paul w8jn
