NE51H-USA bulb specifications:

NE2H-USA bulb specifications:

 amp/watt: 
.002A / .25W

it wont be as bright  and you would need to change the dropping resistor, 
might be easier to go to radio shack and get the  original ne-2h  I "think" 
the radio shack  part number is a 272-1102
