I have checked and replaced all caps on this unit. Diodes were fine as were most resistors. I recalibrate the unit and now when I test 6550's/KT88's they test much higher than before. 1430 is the reject point, my tester tests 2000-2200 for most of my KT88's. I suspect something is fishy. Any idea how to test? On my buddy's Hickok he tested a KT88 at about 65% good, on mine it tested much higher than the reject point and the only thing I think may have affected this is after testing gm I did a grid current test and it tested very high for grid current draw. Will this affect gm values?
