Glen is correct about the RF properties of the RCA connectors, but the
ergonomic issue overrides..

I don't want to plug my receiver into the RF out of the transmitter or have
the RCA jack slip out and load the transmitter into an infinite load......

Using UHF, BNC or N's for RF and RCA's for audio and control lines helps
keep Murphy at the door.
