It's bad. The LMO is not built to be repaired. It's built up in
layers. The tube LMO is easier to work on.
Couple obvious points. Don't bend the plates. Don't adjust the
trimmer. Don't unsolder anything or move it.
I'm guessing that a good shot of De-ox-id, contract cleaner and
contact lube will help. That shaft drives a worm gear. The problem
is there, in the capacitor bearings, or under the flat spring that
touches the rotor shaft.
