[Heathkit] SB 300 series question

There wasn't a "general coverage" receiver in the
SB-Line. The SB-310 (tube type) and the SB-313 (solid
state) were basically the same receivers as the SB-300
and SB-303. The crystals were changed to accommodate
several shortwave listening bands with the elimination
of certain amateur bands. However, there were still
several amateur bands included.

The main difference between the amateur band receivers
and the SWL receivers was that the outputs for
controlling the transmitter were omitted. Also, the
AM filter was a bit "broader" than that which was
supplied for the amateur receivers as an option.

But, the receivers still only had a total of 9 bands
that were 500 KHz wide which gave a total coverage of
4.5 MHz instead of the almost 30 MHz (or more) in most
general coverage receivers.
