[Heathkit] Re Unbuilt Heathkits

Let me interject a little caution here:

I would demand proof before any money changed hands, I would insist on seeing
this inventory inperson if i were a buyer and lived within a hundred miles, I
would demand credentials, I would demand addresses and telephone numbers and so
forth. There is a scam somewhere always, this may, or may not, be one. From
those I know of who worked for Heathkit, no such acquisition ever took place.
Which is not to say it did not happen, but that nobody has ever heard of it.

Let the buyer beware people! Play it safe, check it out first -

This is to let anyone who is interested, that I represent a gentleman who
acquired Heathkit's entire inventory when they went out of business in
the
mid 80's. He has 4,000 unbuilt, factory sealed, Heathkits sitting in a
warehouse here in Toledo, Ohio that need to be sorted-out and
inventoried.
Most of these will be put up for sale. Some he intends on keeping for his
personal collection. This task should be accomplished, hopefully, by
mid-September. If anyone is looking for anything specifically, please
contact me with model numbers and I will be in touch. All items will be
priced in accordance with the "Heathkit Bluebook" at:
http://www.d8apro.com/bluebook.htm as new and "virgin" kits. See note at
the bottom of the page.

Thanks..
Garry
