I have a heath SA-2060 ant tuner that has given good service, but now the
roller inductor is slipping when the crank is turned.
At first I thought it would just be a matter of tightening those little set
screws that couple the shaft, but they are fine.
What is happenning is that the actual phenolic coil form is slipping on the
shaft, the hex nuts that secure the shaft to the form are turning but the
form is just turning sometimes and slipping others.
Can anybody tell me how the form that holds the inductor is secured to the
shaft=3F Being lazy, I am hoping to avoid disassembling the whole darn
thing...
