[Heathkit] BAMA Heath

Fred (and all)

It is of great distress to the most generous father of BAMA, Ken Grimm, that
some greedy opportunists have tried to download every possible file and then
sell them. This ties up the system, prevents legitimate users from being able to
get in, and much more. So before you buy a copy of a manual from somebody not
known for being a vender of same, make sure it is not one 'borrowed' from BAMA
and being exploited for his own self-interests.

While this may, or may not, be illegal, it is without question an exibition of
poor, if any, ethics. Greed, once again, showing its ugly rump and trying to
ruin what Ken has worked so hard to provide to all of you 'legitimate' boat
anchor users who need documentation. But then there are those who when the
offering plate is passed around at church take out, rather than put in too. So
much for respect, heh?

If you know somebody who is exploiting the BAMA site, tell Ken. Maybe we can
arrange to have the vegetation reject boiled in a vat of black beauties!

Hi Ed,

It wasn't your computer. I looked at BAMA after I saw your post, and indeed the
Heath stuff was gone. All the others were there. I suspect that they might have
been uploading some new files or doing maintenance on the site, but you were
right.
