[Heathkit] ho-13 ham-scan

Hello dear Heath-fellows,
I'm new to the list. Have a very good Ho-13-ham-scan but no
handbook.
Would like to know how I have to do a proper tuning of the first
circuit
consisting of C10 and L1, means for what frequency I must adjust
this and maximum
or minimun gain ?
I would like to feed the HO-13 with the 455 khz if freq. of a
KWM-2. And what about
the T1-transformer? Must it be tuned for maximum deflection of
the trace?
What I have found out is that the HO-13 is setup for an if-freq.
of 455 khz.
Would be fine if someone gives me an enlightment. Thanks in
advance for your efforts.
