Norm, when using the SB-650 you have to align the HFO
in the 303 to just shy of maximum. In fact, as high as you
can run it and still get reliable starting. In my SB-650 I also
removed the wire from the bottom of the input gain pot on
the HFO input and replaced it with a 3300 ohm resistor,
and cranked it full bore. Also make sure your using RG-62
cables. I use the SB-301, I don't know if the 303 may have a
lower HFO output or not.
