[Heathkit] AT-1 progress...small.

The other day (when I found that wayward DX-35), I found a few parts in that storage area. I found a 100 pf cap and a 3-30 padder, just what the doctor ordered for the 6AG7 voltage divider circuit. I installed the pair yesterday. The only thing that is holding me up on that part of the circuit is awaiting that xtal socket. Otherwise, the 6AG7 osc/drive stage is done.

In the meanwhile I started up on the 6L6 final stage. I'm doing the amp in stages (about 3-4 components at a time) due to certain time constraints my duty in the Army has before me. I figure that by the end of the week, the 6L6 stage should be finished. The tank coils, wiring, and grid/plate tuning caps have to be cleaned up. I don't want a nice copper finished chassis to have cruddy tarnished wiring on the top. Because the AT-1 is a collector's item, I want the insides to look nice!

To be continued.
