[Heathkit] Simple SB-301 mod

  I've done a VERY simple mod for the 301 that is almost a
"freebee". For those of you who have a 301 and DON'T use
the optional VHF converters, next time you have the
301 opened up tack a 680 ohm 1/2 watt between the 
VHF1 and VHF 2 center pins of the RCA jacks and another
680 1/2 watt from the VHF 2 and HF ant center pin. This
will give you a three position attenuator: HF being 0 dB, VHF 2
will be about -10 dB and VHF 1 will be about -20 dB.
 
 Not a bit deal, but now the switch is actually used for something
that might prove to be handy once in a while.  ;^)
