Hello to All,

I am still looking for a Multi-Meter for an SB-220. Someone out there =
must have one. I have tried to look up the original manufacturer, Ideal =
Precision Meter Co on the web with no success. Does anyone have their =
URL ?

FYI, the meters in the SWR meters ARE NOT the same as the Multi-Meter in =
the SB-220. When measuring the voltage drop across a resistor, the SWR =
meter reads much higher than the Plate Current meter in the SB-220. Both =
the Plate Current and the Multi-Meter have the same manufacture part =
number on them, so I am assuming that they are electrically the same. =
Also, the Multi-Meter in the SB-220 is a lighted meter, the meter in the =
SWR bridge are not. The meter in the SWR bridge has a different magnet =
structure that blocks the light to the face.=20

I have put a resistor across the SWR bridge meter movement to make it =
the same calibration as the Plate Current meter. Once I get the metering =
circuits re-built, I will see if it works OK on all three. I will let =
the list know how I make out with this project.
