Dick is absolutely correct. The Internet is not 'free' even if some out there
try to convince us otherwise. Al Waller in an effort to keep these lists, and
the web sites he sponsores, free from commercial advertising and corporate
hands, does depend on users, that is us, to help out with a donation. Al does
not harp at us or belabor the point, he just hopes we care enough to send him a
few dollars when we can. He just finished building a building on his home
property to move all of the eighteen+ servers out of. The room was hot even with
air conditioning, in the Winter. His hobby has turned into a gigantic radio
service that benefits hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.

The key word? "users" Not 'subscribers'. He should charge us, frankly. Ham
radio, and the radio hobby on the whole, would be a much poorer environment
without the tremendous contributions Al Waller has made. So if you can spare a
ten or twenty, or whatever the amount, please send it to Al.

Thanks -

It is that time of year again (you know, tax time) and if you have not done so
already, please remember Al Waller K3TKJ who built and funds this wonderful
asset to Amateur Radio. QSL/QTH.NET is operated as a service to Amateur
Radio....It is paid for by K3TKJ personally and user donations.

Keep the glow!
