There could be a relation between leaky caps and a transformer ready to let
go if you keep at it.
Dont turn on again until it is fixed.
The key up voltage is 2500V; key down; around 2100 on a stiff 240VAC line,
a bit less on 120V.
The voltage metering resistors also change value over time as they are run
way over ratings.
If you dont want to get into it drop me an EMail, I do those amps in my
sleep.
