[Heathkit] SELL: 1 KW+ Heath SB220 6M Retrofit

 Offering a near mint Heath SB220 retrofitted and dedicated for 6m 
operation. 
Develops 1000W+ output with 100w of drive  with a brand 
 new  pair of RF Parts 3-500 tubes. Rectifier board filters have been 
replaced
 with new  330mFd@ 450VDC Nichicons. From an exterior view, the 
 amplifier  appears stock Heath except that the bandswitch and tank
circuit have 
 been replaced with a front panel  adjustable exciter input  T-Match . 
 There is  a 1:1 SWR with the input circuit excitation  to the amplifier.
  
 Unit's  antenna relay  is fully compatible with the new solid state (DC)

 switching parameters and requires no intermediate controls. Broad 
 banded  tank circuit allows for   full 1 mHz excursion without tuning. 
 Perfect  for contesting and DX'ing. Redesigned HV plate choke, parasitic
 suppressors, mica blocking capacitors,  and shielded T-Match have
 eliminated all troublesome  spurious signals. With 240 VAC primaries
 (ONLY) , the output buries the 1KW Bird 4410 slug.  A unique 
 opportunity  for the serious 6m operator to get a big signal on the air
for a
