Hi All,
I don't know about the rest of you but I am tired of paying more for the
manual then the radio. So we are going to try something new or perhaps old.
I believe in Hams helping Hams. I have spent the last 5 hours scanning the
SB-104A Manual number 2 on to CD in JPEG format. Also I have scanned the
SB-104 to SB-104A conversion, the CW Filter Accessory, and all the
pictorials I have. Also on the disk is a copy in PDF format of the full
schematic which I had gotten from one of the Heathkit archives. I am
willing to copy this disk for anybody that needs the 104 manual and mail it
to them. All I want is for you to throw 4 bucks in an envelope and mail it
to me to cover my cost of a blank, a padded envelope of some kind and the
postage. If I come out 50 cents ahead I will be surprised but the post
office is 10 miles away so I should just break even. The stipulation is
this, I don't want to see it on eBay or any other such place for 10, 20 or
30 bucks. I am out of work home with cancer a wife and two young kids I can
do that myself! If this works and the response is what I expect I will scan
other manuals I have here for Heathkit, if anybody out there would like to
help the cause and has a duplicate manual or one they do not need a hard
copy of anymore email and if is one that I don't have I will have you ship
it to me. Like I said I home, with lots of time and a cheap scanner that
does the job and this could benefit all of us. If you need a copy send me
an email off list and I will send you the address. If anybody out there has
enough room on a server I would be glad to upload and make it available but
the file is roughly 50Meg which would take up a lot of space.
