Have you tried sending mail to the following?:

mailto:[email protected]?subject=help

An email to this address should send you details on how to switch to digest
mode. For future reference (and this applies to all QTH lists administered
by the mailman distribution software) the following "list information" is in
the header in each group in each message posted. Here is the Heathkit  group
info:

List-Help: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=help>
List-Post: <mailto:[email protected]>
List-Subscribe: <http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/heathkit>,
 <mailto:[email protected]?subject=subscribe>

This information is unique to each group. However the format is the same. So
if you ever forget, go look at the header information on a message in the
group you wish to know about.
