[Heathkit] Just aquired "new" heathkit stuff

I just got a HW-101 and a HW-32A.  I have manuals but need further 
information.

I do not yet have them "in hand" but they are supposed to be in 
operational condition.

But I am sure there are things that will make them better...mods, etc. 
 Where do I look for this information??

Secondly I would like to know what the difference is between the HW-32 
and the HW-32A??

and finally, is there a mod out there to allow either of these to 
operate AM??
