[Heathkit] SB-301 IF transformer...again...

Well, it is certainly interesting that, so far, ALL of the SB-300s or
'301s mentioned to me as possible sources of the parts I need are
completely restorable and therefore cost somewhat more than I
care to pay. Apparently those SB receivers are good ones and
junkers are quite rare.

In any case, does anyone know if that IF transformer was
duplicated in any of the Heathkit transceivers or other gear? I am
wondering specifically about the HW-100 series or SB-100 series
for which junkers appear more often?

The trouble with my transformer is that I accidentally shorted it to
the +HV line long enough to let some of the smoke out of the
transformer while trouble-shooting an AGC/S meter problem.
Solved that problem and caused a worse one.

I may be forced to try to re-wind the transformer, but would like to
avoid that if possible.
